Dye Sublimation

Printing breath taking graphics goes beyond paper or plastic; fabric options offer an organic beauty in the wind with OOH or a stimulating texture for up close Point-Of-Purchase signs.

BPGraphics was the 5th printer in the world to get the HP Stitch S1000 press and it’s a work horse. This 126″ wide press not only prints at 1200 dpi but can produce fabric graphics via direct print or heat transfer. Combined with our Evo33 water based dye sublimation press, we can produce up to 3,000 square feet of 126″ wide graphics per hour. These presses use special sublimation CMYK inks which after printing to special paper are then sublimated to a wide variety of fabrics using 400º of heat and extreme pressure via our Monti Antonio 901 Heat Calendar. The process of using heat and pressure causes the inks to sublimate (turn to gas from a solid) and bond with the molecules of the fabric; creating a permanent dye transfer. Our finished product is wrinkle resistant, machine washable and fade resistant. Because the inks become part of the fabric, rather than sitting on top of it, you’re left with a soft to the touch graphics that looks and feels great.
